I rarely make red dresses, but this year I’ve been on the hunt for some beautiful handkerchiefs to use for Christmas dresses. This one is hand sewn from a beautiful Christian Dior handkerchief with an intricate paisley border. Available now in my Etsy shop.

Pink Plaid for Barbie and friends

I do love a good Burberry plaid, especially when it comes in pink! To really show it off, I cut the front panel of the dress on the bias and framed it with black polka dot fabric that continues up into the straps of the dress. Of course the look wouldn’t be complete without a hand sewn straw hat with silk ribbon embroidered flowers. Available now in my Etsy shop.

I’ve been working on perfecting a new patten, and that means I have two new dresses in my Etsy shop. Both prints are by Liberty of London, although one dress is made a vintage handkerchief and one is from their fabulous tana lawn fabric that I picked up from JoAnn Fabrics earlier this week.
