I decided to try out a new bodice pattern with square neckline to go with my new bubble skirt pattern. it took a couple attempts to get the neckline just right, but luckily this was a large hankie, so I had enough fabric to play with. I just finished making this outfit from a new pattern (coming soon). Hand sewn from a vintage Burberry handkerchief, this dress features a halter bodice, extra full skirt and bolero jacket. Available now in my Etsy shop.
This lovely suit is made from a vintage Anna Sui handkerchief. To accentuate the lovely shades of blue in the flowers, I made the bodice of the dress from turquoise China silk. And a bolero jacket of black silk tissue taffeta keeps off the chill. A striking turquoise rhinestone and pearl magnetic brooch completes the look. Available now in my Etsy shop.
