It’s January in Michigan … which means it’s time to start thinking about vacationing in a warmer climate with our favorite Mouse. I found this cute Mickey bandana and decided to make a vacation outfit complete with matching tote bag and vintage Mickey ears. Available now in my Etsy shop.
Lately, I’ve been poring over vintage sewing patterns from the 1950’s and 1960’s. This pattern spoke to me, so I drafted it in Barbie size. I hope to get it published in my shop soon. In the meantime, this dress is available in my Etsy shop.
I’ve had this hankie for a while but could never make up my mind how to use it. I finally decided to make a simple sheath to show off the print, and added a capelet and belt. The capelet can also be worn at the waist as a peplum/overskirt. Available now in my Etsy shop.
This is a custom order from an identical wedding hankie as my last dress, Blush Becomes Her. Only this time, instead of lining the dress in pink, I lined it in white. With the addition of a veil, it makes for an exquisite wedding dress.
I’m kind of getting addicted to Coach silk scarves! And I’m getting snowed in today, so it was a perfect day to finish up this lovely gown.
I’ll be posting fewer dresses for a while while I’m getting ready for the GAW Barbie convention in April. My goal is to make and set aside 2 dresses for every dress I post in my shop.
Available now in my Etsy shop is this lovely suit with petit point skirt, linen jacket, and magnetic rhinestone brooch.
This lovely wrap blouse and skirt set is made from a vintage printed hankie I picked up this fall during our trip to California. A silk ribbon bow accents the waist and a magnetic rhinestone brooch brings out the sparkle in her eyes. Available now in my Etsy shop.
