Updated Coach C’s

This week I found the softest faux mink fabric at JoAnn Fabrics and just had to make a fur stole with it. I think it goes well with my Coach cocktail dress made from a silk Coach scarf. A magnetic rhinestone brooch is included. Available now in my Etsy shop.

Elegant LBD for Barbie, Poppy Parker, and Victoire Roux

What’s better than a vintage inspired little black dress? How about one with a versatile capelet that converts to a peplum/overskirt when worn at the waist. I took my inspiration from a circa 1960 Butterick sewing pattern. I lengthened the capelet to better show off the border print.  Now available in my Etsy shop.

1959 Sheath Dress for Barbie, Poppy Parker, and Victoire Roux

I’m been really inspired by vintage sewing patterns lately. I saw this Simplicity pattern from 1959 on eBay and Etsy and fell in love with the neckline. So after three attempts at the pleated bodice, I finally figured out how to simplify and redraw the pattern Barbie size. I want to make the full skirt version too and then publish the sewing pattern for you sewers to enjoy. So watch for the pattern coming soon. Dress is now available in my Etsy shop.
