I finished the Elizabeth Taylor dress from the movie, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I used a sheer white cotton batiste and made two skirts for the dress so you can’t see through it. The belt is made from ultrasuede with a rhinestone buckle. Available now in my Etsy shop.
I had a request to make a sewing pattern for the iconic white dress Elizabeth Taylor wore in the film Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I didn’t have the right white fabric on hand, so I decided to make a prototype from some Liberty of London tana lawn in rich shades of blue and green. (Don’t worry, I went shopping yesterday and found some white fabric so I can more closely replicate the original.) Dress available now in my Etsy shop.
