This is my second dress from this Ralph Lauren handkerchief. The first dress sold before I could get it posted here, but I had a lot of border left that I paired with pink silk to make this dress.

I’ve had this vintage Gianni Versace handkerchief for a while now, waiting for inspiration to strike. Looking through my handkerchiefs this week, it called out to me. The color combination is so dramatic, I knew it was worthy of a gown. Hope you like it. Available now in my Etsy shop.

I’m headed home from the GAW Barbie Convention tomorrow, so I’ve listed some fashions from my GAW collection in my Etsy shop. Here’s a taste of what’s available.
I’ve been packing all day and I’m ready to head to the GAW Barbie Convention in Livonia, MI, tomorrow after lunch. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the fashions I’m taking with me. My collection this year features shades of blue, pink, and purple and is made from silks, lace, vintage printed and embroidered handkerchiefs, and Liberty of London Tana Lawn. Every dress comes with a coordinating hat or fascinator. I also have about 100 hats made in a variety of colors, and a variety of miniatures. Hope to see some of you there!

This dress is all about recycling. I had a bit of Chanel ribbon that had been used to tie a package and a dated denim shirt with lots of usable fabric. So I made a strapless dress with coordinating bolero jacket and beret. Available now in my Etsy shop.

I recently received some Chanel ribbon from a friend. I immediately knew I wanted to sew it together to make a fabric and then make a skirt for Barbie. A lot of sewing, but I love how it turned out.
