I found this unusual embroidered lace on Etsy. It was a little pricey, but so unusual I just had to get some. The background is black net with an elaborate design embroidered in blush threads. It was made in the 1920’s for flapper dresses. Can you imagine how great that would look? But I decided to move forward a few decades and make a classic mid-century design with timeless appeal. And who better to model the dress than Silkstone Audrey Hepburn? Dress and hat available now in my Etsy shop.
